Update: 20/Nov/2025. The lovely team at the cafe tells me they have onboarded a new chef, and the improvements are absolutely noticeable! I have happily updated my review to reflect the higher quality. coffee at Little Garran is excellent and consistently good. I recently ordered food which was delicious, but it contained a piece of broken glass. This is a catastrophic food safety issue that could have caused serious issue’s to my throat m. What was worse, the waiter offered no apology or acknowledgement of the danger. Excellent coffee, but a complete failure in safety and customer service.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Little Garran Café: tiny café, huge heart. Great coffee, super friendly staff, and food that tastes like someone’s grandma secretly runs the kitchen. The owner is always floating around with good vibes and somehow remembers everyone’s order — basically a local legend. You walk in tired and walk out a better person. 10/10 would caffeinate again.

Pleasant Cafe within Garran shops. A bit harder to locate as it's adjacent to the main body of shops. Interesting layout as you order items in a separate area to where the tables are located. Nice ambience, with good heating for cold Canberra mornings. Good menu selection. Enjoyed their fig fruit toast. Nice coffee - even lashed on an extra one. Green Tea was also above average.

Very nice cafe in Garran. Beautiful and cozy place. Service was good and staff friendly. We had the Hale Mary juice and falafel bowls, and both were delicious. Good portion size for the price. I will definitely come back to try other vegetarian and vegan options.
